On December 2, 1996, my two year old son Kenny was diagnosed with stage 4 rhadomyosarcoma.  Kenny had been misdiagnosed for almost a year due to a lazy pathologist who decided to ignore what he saw on a biopsy.  We were told that Kenny might not survive treatment.  On January 13, 1998, Kenny will have been off therapy for 10 years!  Although he does have some learning disabilities and is having some weight issues (too skinny), he is a blessing and my hero.  Kenny enjoys playing baseball and has been playing ball at Shaw Park since he was 5 years old.  Kenny also takes after his mom and loves riding horses....paricularly race horses!
